Winners Win, Losers Lose!


Lou Hotz once said, “You were not born a winner and you were not born a loser. You are what you make yourself to be.” What are you making yourself to be? A loser or a winner? Why is it that you are always pessimistic about everything around you? Why is it that you always see impossibilities in everything?

The truth is this: God has planted the seed of possibilities in everyone. Every one of us has been endowed with the capacity to make things happen. The onus is now on us to be optimistic and learn to see possibilities all around us. Believe it, if you think you can, you can and if you think you can’t, you can’t!

Why can’t you begin to think aright? Why can’t you begin to see possibilities all around you? The fact that the next person to you does something and he fails does not necessarily mean you would also fail. After all, you are different from him.

Change your mindset and begin to see possibilities all around you. The fact that you fail while making an attempt does not mean you are failure. If you picture yourself succeeding in whatever endeavour you are pursuing, success would eventually come. It’s only a question of time.

Winning starts from the mind. If you strongly believe that failure is not an option for you, circumstances will begin to work in your favour and your desired success will eventually become a reality. Winning isn’t dependent on gender, background, religion, colour or any of such factors.  It’s a thing of the mind. Once it’s settled within you to win, the energy to achieve it begins to build up. If on the other hand you have conceded defeat within you, no force on earth is strong enough to pull you to the winning side.
Winning starts from the mind, so also does failure! Make up your mind to begin to win. Winners win and losers lose.
